1. How do I add Streams?
All our streams are housed in our StreamStore. You can add streams using four different methods:
Featured: Our “Featured” section contains our hot picks for the best streams. To add a Featured stream, simply tap the + button on any of the icons of streams you like.
Topics: Our “Topics” section contains more top picks organized by subject matter. Browse through the Topics listed on the StreamStore and add anything you like from the list of Topics.
Search: There are two ways to search on Taptu. You can search by the name of the Web site or blog you are looking for, or you can search by keywords. For example, if you know you want TechCrunch, simply type TechCrunch in the search box. Or, if you’d like to see a wider selection, you’d type in “technology,”. If our StreamStore does not bring up any results, you can search for an RSS on Bing by tapping “More results (Bing RSS)”.
Import from Google Reader: Log in to your Google account and add up to 100 RSS feeds from your Google Reader account. Taptu will convert those into streams for you.
Tip: If you don’t know how to get to the StreamStore just click on the + button on the main view of Taptu.
